James McGregor – Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James Frederick Travers
McGregor, aged 51. Born in London on 6 February 1974, James passed away in
Chicago on 8 December 2025.
James is survived by his wife, Kim; his children, Evelyn and Owen; his parents,
George and Patricia; and his siblings, Andrew and Fiona. He will be greatly missed
by his family and many friends, who remember him for his strength of character,
authenticity, curious mind, distinctive sense of humour, unwavering loyalty in
friendship and devotion to his children.
A funeral service to honour James’ life will be held at St John’s Episcopal Church in
Chicago on 16 January 2026, 11:00 a.m.

James’ life will also be celebrated at a memorial
service in Melbourne in late January 2026, with further details to follow.
