Por la seguridad y salud de todos solamente 

se permitirá 30 personas entrar a la funeraria.  

Si se permite rotación sin limite.

​Todos tendrán que usar mascara

aunque tengan la vacuna o no.

No se permite comida ni bebida asi 

para mantener la mascara puesta 

en todo momento.

 

La familia pide que 

por favor entren y estén

 solo 15 minutos

y salgan para así poder hacer 

rotación y dejar que los demás 

también puedan entrar.

Si gustan ordenar flores para 

el Sr. Miguel Angel, a travez de esta pagina,

favor de hacerlo ANTES de las 12:00 p.m.

del SABADO para así asegurar de que 

estén atiempo en la funeraria 

para su velacion.

(parking at the cinema next door). 

 

  For everyone's health and safety, only 30 people will be allowed to enter to the funeral home at a time. 

Unlimited rotation is allowed. 

Everyone must wear a mask - regardless of vaccine 

No food or drink is allowed - because your mask must stay on at all times.

The family asks that you please come and stay only 15 minutes, so that others may also have a chance to enter.

to ensure your order will be on time for the visitation.

Obituary

On Monday, January 24, 2022, Miguel Angel Flores loving husband and father of two children, passed away at the age of 71.

Miguel was born on October 31, 1950, in Canovanas, Puerto Rico. He and his mother Juana emigrated to Chicago, Illinois when he was seven years old, and was raised in the city if Chicago in the Humboldt Park neighborhood.  

He was hardworking his whole life.  He retired in his fifties and started a career in law enforcement.  He loved being an officer and ended his profession at the age of fifty-seven. However, always wanted to be a criminal prosecutor.  

Miguel had a passion for running, lifting weights, and martial arts, especially HapKiDo.  He was a talented artist. You could always find him either drawing, or carving eagles, owls, and Native Indians.  Miguel loved the nautical theme; it was evident in his home where you would find ships, anchor sculptures or paintings.  In his younger years he enjoyed bowling, billiards, softball and more.  His health did not keep him from enjoying life.  He enjoyed singing the oldies, playing the harmonica, guitar and continued with his art.

His desires were to go on a cruise to visit different countries in Europe.  Spain was the first place he wanted to visit, then Italy, and France. Miguel also wanted to see his place of birth in Puerto Rico.  He longed to visit the departed in the family.  He had a fondness for Mexican music, food, culture.  He vacationed and traveled throughout different parts of Mexico many times.  When he was younger, you could often find him wearing a sombrero and cowboy boots.  Many people thought he was Mexican until they heard him speak, but he would laugh about their amazement.  He had a good sense of humor. He was kind, compassionate and would always try to help his fellow man or woman any way he could.

Miguel was preceded by his father Eufemio, his mother Juana, his brothers Jose and “Old Mike”; sisters Abigail, Aida, and Hilda; is survived by his wife Elba, his step-daughter Eva; three daughters and spouses Angie, daughter-in-law Glenda, Rosa, son-in-law Olincer, Jenny,  grandson; Olincer, step-granddaughter April, his brothers; Roberto, Neftali, Hector; sisters; Iris, Maria, Amelia, Ana, Lucy, Gladys, twin sister Nydia and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
