Roque Benjamin Pacheco, 88, of Chicago, passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2023 at Peterson Park Health Care Center, Chicago.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Ss. Genevieve and Stanislaus Bishop & Martyr Parish, Chicago,with Rev. Yorman A. Beltran officiating. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Lostant, IL.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at the Logan Square Funeral Home, Chicago.  

Roque was born on June 2, 1935 in Ecuador to parents, Andres Pacheco and Maria Florinda Pena. He married Alejandrina Chiqui on June 12, 1977 in Ecuador.  He was a devout Catholic and enjoyed spending time with family.

He is survived by his children, Benjamin (Fanny) Pacheco of Chicago, Mercedes Pacheco of Chicago, and Tobias (Michele) Pacheco of Lostant; and 9 grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, 3 brothers, and 1 sister.
