Sebastian Ariel Figueroa

Sebastian A. Figueroa, age 15 of East Grand Forks, MN passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2020.
Sebastian Ariel Figueroa was born on June 9, 2004 in Chicago, IL, the son of Francisco and Angelina (Zenon) Figueroa.  In 2015 the family moved to East Grand Forks, MN where he attended East Grand Forks Public Schools.  Sebastian was currently a sophomore at East Grand Forks Senior High School.   He enjoyed working with the younger kids at New Heights Elementary in East Grand Forks.  He was a kid at heart.
“Seby” as he was better known, was a gentle and kind soul.  He was the type of person who would do anything for his friends.  If things were not fair, Seby would be the one to try and make it right.  His quiet presence made others around him feel safe.  Sebastian’s kind smile and soft heart will be missed by all that knew him. 
Family members who survive Sebastian include his mother, Angelina of East Grand Forks, MN; siblings, Joshua Figueroa of Emerado, ND, Francisco and Penelope Figueroa both of East Grand Forks, MN; along with many family and friends.  He is preceded in death by his father Francisco Figueroa in 2016.
